Bill Cosby has been on television for so long, usually in a rather silly sitcoms or advertisements for Jello, it’s easy to forget that he used to be funny, okay face and humor. In the 1960′s and early 70′s, school children can recite the color of whatever material they heard on the Cosby’s best-selling comedy albums.

Cosby has never worked as an actor, but NBC brass realize that the appeal is broader than just black and white. So, Cosby was hired to play the spy, sexy intelligent opposite Robert Culp in the mid-1960s adventure show I Spy. Running for three seasons, it’s fun entertainment, but it also represents an important breakthrough – no black man who has starred in American TV show before. And some blacks who had been seen on television is usually the head waiter or bus drivers clunky. Cosby character, by contrast, was a Rhodes scholar, and Culp equal partner in espionage.

Cosby High school dropouts for entry into the Navy. After a tour of duty, he earned his equivalency diploma through correspondence courses, and quick feet that got him to Temple University on a track-and-field scholarship when he was 23, but dropped out to pursue show business. His early stand-up routine begins with a night club on “Fat Albert” and “Old Weird Harold”. Album cause some selling comedy album in 1960, and appearances on prime time all the various events (Dean Martin, Andy Williams, etc.) and the Tonight Show Johnny Carson.

My Big Lie (Little Bill Books for Beginning Readers) by Bill Cosby Little Bill’s Big Lie, I’m in big trouble when he tells a lie to explain why he had come home late for dinner. Full color. Personal Review: My Big Lie (Little Bill Books for Beginning Readers) by Bill Cosby I’m looking for a way to explain to my child why lying is a “big no-no.” I hope that Little Bill’s book will definitely hold the interest of my child. This book is able to do both quite well. This story is interesting without being too complicated. Both my children enjoyed it and the elders seemed to finally understand what I have failed in explaining earlier. The only complaint I have is that I wished I had parents Bill Cosby Little explained the danger in what he alleged to have done that caused him to be late for dinner (his lie), prior to having Bill come clean. But, it allows for other important security topics to be discussed.

Overall, I would give the book 4.5 stars. For More 5 Star and Customer Reviews Lowest Price: My Big Lie (Little Bill Books for Beginning Readers) by Bill Cosby 5 Star Customer Reviews and Lowest Price!

Every year my students have the option to choose a book from a pile of books ‘Little Bill’, and this one is always the first one they chose. Moral of the story is one that teachers do not only want to pose, but parents, too. He has a great way to introduce a Boy who cried WOLF story into the classroom. I also enjoy how to introduce a way to discuss the definition of “lying”. This book is great for my students because we were able to explore in more detail the true meaning of “trust”. I recommend this book to every teacher and every parent of elementary school age children.

With his new book “I am What I Eat … and I fear”, an animated series based on the bestselling “Fatherhood” of his book to begin in January on Nick at Nite, a movie based on his character Fat Albert will go into production, “Little Bill “his animated series airing daily on Nickelodeon and Saturday mornings on CBS, and” The Cosby Show “in syndication, Bill Cosby continues to be as productive and relevant as ever, reaching every generation and every audience since he began his career in stand-up four decades ago.

He is one of the most influential players in the second half of the 20th century. He had an unparalleled career in television; has sold more records than any other comedian; his blockbuster books have sold millions of copies, and the generous support of many charities, particularly in the areas of education, have endowed many Americans with the gift of hope and learning.

Through groundbreaking appearances on television, particularly in two landmark series each of which defined an American decade, Bill Cosby has touched the lives of millions of Americans. In 1960, “I Spy” broke the racial barrier in television by featuring Cosby as the first black lead of a weekly dramatic series. In the 1980s, Cosby returned to television with a show that Coretta Scott King described as “the most positive image of black family life that never aired.” “The Cosby Show” enjoyed years of number one ratings and nearly unanimous critical acclaim.

Cosby success on television has been matched in other areas. In 1986 he broke the 53-year attendance record for Radio City Music Hall for concert appearances. Cosby is also a giant in the publishing world. “Fatherhood” (1986) became one of the fastest-selling hardcover book of all time, remaining more than half of fifty-four weeks in Seller List “The New York Times’ best as a No. 1. It has sold 2.6 million hardcover copies and 1.5 million paperbacks. “Time Flies” has the largest print publication of the first single in history – 1.75 million. Now, “I am What I Eat … and I’m Scared” ready to bestseller lists.

A crusader throughout his career for a better world, a huge success in the world of entertainment is complemented by his involvement with numerous charitable organizations, making substantial gifts in support of education, especially for the predominantly black colleges and various social service and civil rights organizations.

On the evolution of his own style of comedy, Bill Cosby said that he was interested at an early age to master jazz, learning to emulate in comedy their ability to take ideas and continue to find new and innovative ways to express the same theme. Heritage Bill Cosby comedy genius is as sweet, meaningful and universal as any piece of music ever played.

Honeywood has a reputation growning on American art and his work has tremendous attraction child.
